Originally opened as Bennett's Rustic Bar-B-Q in 1926 and most recently known as the Guinda Commons, we've brought our town's only restaurant firmly into the 21st century with a complete commercial kitchen remodel, new menu, and updated lighting and furnishings, without losing the classic character of rural Guinda.
Sundays join us for a special Brunch 10 am to 3 pm
La Tabla (a new partnership composed of the rock star team Jenny MacDonald and Bert Bach)
will be serving delicious "Mexi-terranean" Brunches.
Highlights include breakfast burritos, Eggs Jenny (a potato and ham hash topped with a fried pasture raised egg and jalapeno hollandaise sauce, as well as delicious agua frescas!
St Louis Style Ribs and Tri-tip
Our dinner and lunch menus feature locally sourced weekly specials, home made pickles, burgers, small plates and bar snacks sourced from Capay Valley farms, including our own farm, Casa Rosa Farm.
A dinner special is served Thursday through Saturday. We have 6 beers on tap, an assortment of bottled and craft brews, ciders and local wine by the glass. Seasonal cocktails and mocktails made with wine and cider. Free wi-fi and clean bathroom for customers. Large outdoor backyard patio, with a porch swing, big lawn and fire pit plus cornhole game. Kid friendly. Pets allowed in backyard. Working dogs always have a place at the Farm Kitchen.
Seasonal items and local gifts available for purchase in our cafe as well as off-sale beer and wine by the bottle. Grow or make something you'd like us to feature in our shop? Come in or send us an email. We want to feature local artisans and growers.
